Stuck to Pan
Here is a helpful solution for the common causes:
-
Low-fat recipeSOLUTION
- The amount of fat in the dough affects how easily the biscuits, scones and shortcakes can be removed from the cookie sheet or baking pan. Try lightly spraying cookie sheets or baking pans with no-stick cooking spray. After you are finished baking, make sure cookie sheets and baking pans are washed well – any cooking spray left on the sheet will discolor the sheet the next time you bake with it.
- Use a nonstick baking pan. If surface is dark in color, reduce oven temperature by 25°F.
- Line the baking pan with parchment paper.
